Bambay primary school has 423 students (207 Girls and 216 Boys). The school has been developed and improved by Livingstone Tanzania Trust (LTT) and the community for several years now.
The school was in need of a kitchen to store and cook food to feed hungry tummies. We supported LTT to implement this project in collaboration with Bambay community. We are pleased that this project has been a great success.
This kitchen is far more fuel-efficient than an open fire stove because you can use one set of fuel (sticks/coal) to heat up 2 cooking rings. This helps reduce the fuel required by around 50%!
