Haraa Primary School toilets in 2020

Haraa Primary School’s toilet block was in serious need of renovation. Not having a hygienic, private and safe space to use the toilet can prevent children from attending school, especially girls during menstruation.

Last month, we announced that we were working alongside the Maisha Capacity Development Opportunity (MCDO) to assist in their building and renovation of the toilet facilities at Haraa Primary School, in Babati, Tanzania. Now, we are even more excited to announce that the project has been completed!
