In order to volunteer with us you will need to pass a safeguarding and vetting check, which includes getting a DBS check, two references and be approved as 'fit for travel' by our medical partners.

We ask our international volunteers to attend 8 x 2 hours volunteer sessions before you go to Tanzania to integrate with our team, learn about our projects and meet other volunteers. We believe this will give you the best start to understanding the work you will go on to do in Tanzania. You’re welcome to come into our office in Manchester or work remotely via video call

I confirm that I can be available to remotely attend 8 x 2 hour training sessions.

You'll also need to attend 4 X 2 hour training sessions, covering everything from the history of Made With Hope, our projects, fundraising, the logistics of your trip and staying safe in Tanzania.
