Matt & Charlotte donate their wedding funds to build a classroom!

Matthew and Charlotte very generously donated £5,500 to building a classroom at our secondary school. We were so overwhelmed by the support of these two people, who have been supporting our work for a few years. We have never met them before, but they have kept Made With Hope close to their heart by doing sponsored runs and donating to almost every campaign we do!

This selfless, and extremely humble couple, donated this money instead of having a large wedding. They wanted something more than just a big wedding party. And with Made With Hope’s help, we were able to build a classroom where their kindness will be remembered forever.

We still remember the cold February day in 2018 when they emailed us asking to donate their wedding funds. We were feeling a bit down as the secondary school funding target was so big for such a small charity like ours. They gave us a boost of confidence and made us believe that we could complete this school for the school in this rural community.

We will never forget their support. Thank you forever and always Matthew and Charlotte.
